uncommon, unexpected specialty produce

Edulis Gardens is a small organic farm on an ancient sand dune in San Luis Obispo county.

We grow uncommonly delicious fruit. We use a variety agroecological and beyond-organic growing techniques: richly diverse compost extracts, interplanting, and the use of perennial nitrogen-fixing plants to produce mulch and fertilizer on-farm.

Our uncommonly delicious produce offerings are listed below.

Organic Purple Passionfruit

Dreamily aromatic, sweet and tart. Variety: Fredericks. Available September through April.

Sweet and tart

Organic Hass Avocados

Other varieties, such as Fuerte, Bacon, Reed, Walter Hole, etc seasonally available.

Rare Citrus

Yuzu, finger limes (aka caviar limes), calamondin, limequats, mandarinquats.

Mandarins

Satsuma mandarins, Gold Nugget mandarins.

Goldenberries

As tangy-tasty as they are packed full of antioxidants and bioflavonoids.

Goldenberries / cape gooseberries / poha / aguaymanto / uchuva / uvilla — the fruit of many names!

Tamarillos

Succulant, piquant, tropical – a mix of kiwi, tomato, and passionfruit. Coming soon.
